1. Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how Repp Up ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Repp Up mobile application ("App"). It applies to all users of the App on iOS and Android.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.
2. Delete your account and data
You can permanently delete your Repp Up account and associated data at any time.
Delete in the app (recommended)
- Open Repp Up and sign in with Google.
- Go to Workouts.
- Tap the menu (⋮) → Edit Profile.
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm deletion. You may be asked to sign in with Google again to verify your identity.
This permanently deletes your account and associated app data.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, email us at privacy@reppup.app with:
- Subject: Account deletion request
- The Google email address linked to your Repp Up account
We will verify ownership and delete your account and associated data within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account and profile (name, email, age, gender, height, weight, fitness preferences)
- Custom workouts, workout history, and progress
- Community workouts you published
- In-app shares and notifications
- Username reservation (@handle)
- Coins and rewards balance stored in the App
What may be retained
- Subscription / billing records may be retained by Google Play, the App Store, and our payment provider (RevenueCat) as required for tax, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.
- Backups or logs may be retained for a limited period for security and then deleted.
Cancel your subscription separately
Deleting your Repp Up account does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel it in:
- Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Repp Up
- App Store → Subscriptions → Repp Up

What We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect precise GPS location
- We do not access your contacts, camera, or microphone without explicit permission
- We do not collect payment card details (handled entirely by Apple/Google)
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account
- Generate personalised AI workout plans based on your profile
- Display and track your workout history and progress
- Enable sharing and community workout features
- Process and manage your subscription via RevenueCat
- Improve the App, fix bugs, and develop new features
- Send important service notifications (e.g. subscription renewals, policy updates)
- Respond to your support requests
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not use your data to serve you advertisements, and we do not sell your personal data to any third party.
5. Sharing Your Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may share your data only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers: We share data with trusted third-party services that help us operate the App (see Section 6). These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.
- Other users (when you choose): If you publish a workout to the community or share a workout, limited profile information (such as display name / username) and the workout content may be visible to others.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or government authority.
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred. We will notify you before this occurs.
- With your consent: For any other sharing, we will ask for your explicit consent first.
6. Third-Party Services
Repp Up uses the following third-party services to operate. Each has its own privacy policy:

We send only the minimum data necessary to each third-party service. We do not send your name or email to the Anthropic Claude API — only anonymised fitness profile data is used to generate workout plans.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App's services. Specifically:
- Account data: Retained until you delete your account
- Workout logs: Retained until you delete your account or manually delete individual entries
- Anonymised analytics: May be retained indefinitely for product improvement
- Legal records: Retained as required by applicable law
When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, use, or disclosure. These measures include:
- Data encrypted in transit using TLS/HTTPS
- Firebase security rules restricting data access per user
- Authentication via Google OAuth 2.0
- Regular review of our security practices
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, please contact us immediately.
9. Children's Privacy
Repp Up is intended for users aged 18 and over. It is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete that data promptly.

10. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
- Portability: Request your data in a portable, machine-readable format
- Objection: Object to certain types of processing
- Withdrawal of consent: Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent
To exercise any of these rights, you can delete your account directly in the App (see Section 2), or contact us at privacy@reppup.app. We will respond within 30 days.
11. International Data Transfers
Repp Up uses services (including Firebase and RevenueCat) that may store and process your data in countries other than your own, including the United States. We ensure that any such transfers are carried out in compliance with applicable data protection laws and that appropriate safeguards are in place.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or via email at least 7 days before the changes take effect.
We encourage you to review this Policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
